Summer Food Service Program for Children Underway
The Summer Food Service Program (previously called Summer Lunch Program) is underway and will run through August 8, 2008. Up to 200 sites will serve meals to children throughout Metro Louisville.
Meals will be provided at no charge to all children 18 and under. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, family income, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Turkey based products are used for all meals served in this program.
