Community Action Partnership Calls for Scholarship Applications
The Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership (LMCAP), in partnership with the Louisville Area Chapter American Red Cross, will award 15 scholarships for individuals interested in the Certified Nurses Assistant (C.N.A.) job training program. Applicants must be Louisville residents, have either a high school diploma or a G.E.D., and meet certain income guidelines (income cannot exceed 125% of federal poverty guidelines). 12/19/2008

Volunteers Deliver More Than a Hot Meal on Thanksgiving
More than 300 homebound seniors will get a special delivery of turkey, mashed potatoes and all the fixings this Thanksgiving, thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers with the Louisville Metro Meals on Wheels Program. |
