There are many career opportunities available at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. We currently have openings for Correctional Officers. The LMDC offers a competitive benefits pay package, paid training, hazardous duty retirement, as well as assignment variety and opportunity for advancement. Once training has been completed, graduates become sworn peace officers. Applicants must meet specified requirements and be 21 years old to apply.
