CANOE ACCESS SITE:
On May 30, 2007, Mayor Jerry Abramson opened a new six-mile "water trail" that begins in Miles Park.  Information about this paddlesport facility for canoes and kayaks is posted on a kiosk in the parking lot, near the back of the park.  Read the press release, view a short video about the canoe access sites, or view a map of the water trail (1.6 MB PDF file) that was produced by students at Eastern High School.
