IPL

 The Department of Inspections, Permits and Licenses (IPL) issues permits and performs inspections for property owners, business owners, and contractors who own property, build new construction or do renovation on older buildings.

Development/Permits
Permits and licenses for new construction, additions, alterations, repairs, etc., and plumbing, HVAC and electrical work.

Property Maintenance
Enforcement of Code which details the responsibilities of property owners, including regulations regarding the maintenance of property (occupied or vacant property, vacant lots, abandoned vehicles).

Licenses & Permits
Licensing requirements for vendors, including taxis and Alcoholic Beverage Control, and all other types of non-construction regulated licenses.

Code Enforcement Board
Appeal citations for housing/property issues, public nuisance, noise, false alarms, and booking fees.
